ROANOKE , AL, UNITED STATES, August 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- BLZ Fire Skids today announced the BLZ Defender 200, a compact Ultra High Pressure fire suppression skid engineered for brush trucks, wildland response vehicles, utility trucks, and rapid-response applications.

Built around a 200-gallon internally baffled water tank, the Defender 200 combines a commercial-duty UHP pump system capable of delivering up to 10 GPM at 1,200 PSI with integrated foam capability, a custom high-pressure hose reel, rapid-fill access, onboard storage, and emergency fuel reserve.

The slide-in platform is designed to add meaningful fire suppression capability to trucks departments and organizations already operate, providing a maneuverable option for roadside grass fires, brush lines, mop-up operations, structure protection, prescribed burns, and locations where full-size apparatus may have limited access.

At the center of the Defender 200 is its Ultra High Pressure system, delivering up to 1,200 PSI at a maximum flow of 10 GPM. The system is designed to provide controlled water application while making efficient use of the unit’s 200-gallon onboard supply.

The Defender 200 also features the proprietary BLZ Blaze Buster™ proportional foam metering system, allowing operators to increase, decrease, or shut off foam injection during operation without interrupting water flow. Foam concentrate is stored separately in an integrated 3-gallon tank, eliminating the need to pre-mix the entire water supply and allowing operators to adjust foam use based on conditions.

Hose deployment is handled by the BLZ Front Line™ custom high-pressure hose reel, manufactured in-house specifically for fire-service applications. The reel incorporates a stainless-steel internal manifold for corrosion resistance and supports up to 200 feet of high-pressure hose.

For rapid field refilling, the Defender 200 includes a 6-inch fill tower with an integrated debris strainer and sealed, glove-friendly locking lid. An integrated sight glass provides immediate water-level visibility without requiring electronic monitoring or access to the tank.

The skid also incorporates a Milwaukee PACKOUT™ storage system for tools, fittings, adapters, nozzles, and other equipment, along with a side-mounted RotopaX™ emergency fuel reserve designed to provide approximately one additional refill for the Honda-powered pump system.

Major components—including the tank, UHP pump, hose reel, foam system, fill tower, storage, and fuel reserve—are integrated into a single slide-in platform engineered for pickups, brush trucks, flatbeds, and utility bodies.
