Airwise Launches Nexus, Open Airspace-Awareness Platform Fusing Trusted Operational Data into a Single Operating Picture

Nexus in Action

New airwiseOS capability fuses radar, RF detection, Remote ID, ADS-B, video, telemetry and enterprise data into Nexus, a unified operating picture for industry.

TULSA, OK, UNITED STATES, August 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Airwise Solutions Launches Nexus, an Open Airspace-Awareness Platform That Unifies Trusted Operational Data into a Single Operating Picture

Nexus ingests and correlates data from third-party sensors and operational systems — including radar, radiofrequency (RF) detection, Remote ID, ADS-B, video, OEM drone telemetry and other trusted cooperative and non-cooperative traffic feeds. The fusion of these data feeds is presented through an integrated common operating picture for enterprise drone operations, counter-UAS awareness and airspace management.

Nexus addresses a persistent challenge facing public-safety agencies and critical-infrastructure operators: Airspace sensors and operational systems often come with separate consoles, requiring operators to reconcile multiple disconnected screens before they can act. Nexus fuses those feeds into one live picture, correlating detections with an enterprise’s own drone, personnel and vehicle telemetry, so teams can see and respond to what is happening in their airspace from a single environment.

At the center of the launch is an open partner model. Sensor and other data-feed providers can integrate with Nexus for free and on a non-exclusive basis, and a single integration makes their data available to every Airwise customer whose use case permits it. Partners keep full ownership of their data, and Airwise — a software company that builds no hardware — provides a single common operating picture that delivers real-time actionable operational intelligence. This approach is intended to enhance the airspace picture rapidly while reducing the cost and friction of adopting the platform for each new customer.

Airwise is bringing Nexus to market first in public safety, including drone-as-first responder (DFR) and counter-UAS programs, and in energy and utilities, where operators inspect and protect large infrastructure footprints. Among the collaborators supporting the launch is public-safety drone integrator Unmanned Vehicle Technologies.

“The agencies we serve are managing more sensors, systems, and data, but that information only matters when teams can understand and act on it quickly,” said Chris Fink, founder and chief executive officer of UVT. “By bringing those technologies together through Airwise Nexus, we are able to provide customers with a clearer view of their airspace and greater confidence when decisions matter most.”

“Nexus is built on a simple idea: the airspace picture gets better with every sensor or other trusted operational data it fuses, so integration should be free and open,” said Josh O’Leary, Chief Technology Officer of Airwise Solutions. “We make our partners’ sensors more valuable inside the Nexus common operating picture, and we give customers the freedom to combine best-of-breed hardware in one operating picture instead of being locked to a single vendor.”

Airwise Nexus is available now. Sensor manufacturers, data-feed providers and integrators interested in joining the Nexus partner program can contact Airwise Solutions to begin a no-cost integration. Nexus uses standards-based open APIs for enterprise integrations to accelerate deployment.
